On our part as a department, we strive to motivate and develop students in various vocational and entrepreneurial skills. Some platforms provided for the students to discover innate potentials include: athletics, craftsmanship, creative arts, music and entertainment, carpentry and technology.
The students are encouraged to be practical-oriented. However, the students of the Foods and Nutrition unit are being trained in making various yoghurts, beverages, pastries, continental and inter-continental dishes among other activities. Some of the projects produced from the students’ Technology workshop this session are well finished bookshelves, 3-point extension sockets, reagent and bottle racks.
